The following is a breakdown of the exact process we will use when researching your keyword lists:

Step 1.  Collect Keywords from relevant sources

Depending on the plan you choose, our team will spend 1-4 days collecting keywords using the processes outlined in the upcoming sections on the particular plan details.   Our Essentials KRS takes 1-day to complete and utilizes the Google Adwords keyword research tool which we use to “scrape” keywords & URL’s for new ideas.

Extensive Keyword Research System:

Our Heads & Tails™ Extensive Keywords Research System ensures we fully explore the following sources of keyword ideas;

In order to find new ideas, we conduct up to 50 unique searches for every tool, so the final keyword research yields approx. 650 Pages of keyword ideas for our specialists to review, edit, expand & format on your behalf.

Step 2. Keyword List Editorial Processing

Depending on the level of service you choose, our initial keyword collection process will gather anywhere from 1000-650,000+ Keywords.

These keywords are a total jumble of relevant AND irrelevant keywords.  There are a ton of keywords in every “research list” that will waste way too much of your budget without generating any returns.  For example, a Plumber’s PPC campaign will waste a lot of money without direct returns if they advertise for keywords that match any of these themes:

Step 3.  You Review/Approve Keyword Themes

Once our team has uncovered the keyword themes we believe have the best chance of being profitable, we’ll send you an outline of the themes for you to review.  If there’s anything not in line with your marketing strategy, we’ll work with you to ensure everything is to your satisfaction.

 

Step 4.  Full Keyword Building

Once we receive an approved list of keyword themes we get started combining, expanding & grouping keywords until we’ve built a campaign full of highly relevant, commercially-focused keywords.  Depending on the service level you choose, your keyword list can range from 8,000-50,000 keywords (even more are available if you are willing to open more than one Adwords account).  We utilize this volume of keywords in order to capitalize on the “Long-Tail”, and thus save you 50-90% on click costs.
